God, I wish I had the sense of entitlement and complete lack of self-awareness of some of these people.  Who the fuck thinks they can deliberately antagonize people and then still have a right to those people’s warm affections?  Sorry John McCain’s Daughter, you spent years on that show spouting hateful, toxic

Please explain in detail how telling single women over the age of 35 that they’re leftovers is holding them accountable? Holding them accountable for...aging??

Especially if they have a viewership of over 290 million and over a million subscribers. Bad information needs to be called out. He’s teaching other Black men the wrong message.

Jeezuz this guy is a walking mid-life crisis.

My favorite part about Kevin Samuels and guys like him, is that they actually believe their audience is “high value men”, who have trouble navigating the dating world as successful objects of desire for women. In reality, the only people who believe the garbage they peddle are insecure, fragile men who can’t get

Hey Rainey, have you started following any other black blogs since the mass exodus of the VSB crew? I haven’t been able to find a decent substitute for ~2018 TheRoot.

On topic: fuck this guy and anyone who defends him on the basis of “lol black on black feminism is running amuck.”

LOL! Ya, I hate women, too.

Not all Black men are worthy of defense and this motherfucker does nothing but profit on misogynoir. He’s a disgusting pig. We could do less with articles about him but the idea that trashing him is some issue with Black feminism is wrong. He belongs in the damn sewer.

It’s a gossip site? I know it’s not what it used to be but I *thought* this was a site where we looked at things through a “supposedly feminist” lens. Fair enough on it being in Dirt Bag.

I’m sure she is in therapy. I’m never one to defend the Kardashians (it’s a losing battle, mostly) but I find it gross to be observing any woman, calling her “textbook” and declaring a need for massive therapy. You haven’t watched more than 10 mins and you still think you’ve earned the right to put it out in the

Cosigning. This video could have been a email regular post. Knock it off, already. We hate them.

I’m not quite as annoyed as you are. But you’ll be livid to learn that all of the information in the video is TEXT over random red carpet videos of Schumer doing her coquettish face.

Starred. Some of us HATE to watch our news (even Jezebel “news”) in video form. Please stop it.

Why is this a video?

No wonder Church was so pissed.

During HBO’s “Inside the episode” post-show clip, Simon Jones (a genuine Brit) describes Mrs. Russell’s bribe to Bannister as “gobsmackingly huge.” I reckon such a sum approaching half his annual salary would be irresistible, definitely worth a skip or two while crossing the street.

I read the answer to my own question, and is exactly so. In the 1800s a girl was only to put her hair up to signal that she was available for marriage. It meant that she was out in society and considered a woman. Oh, well, it seems that Gladys has many milestones she hasn’t been allowed to reach.

Is there a rule against a girl who has not been brought out into society from putting her hair up? Every time I see Gladys, my gut reaction is, someone put her awful ratty hair up as is the style. She looks so out of place with her hair over her shoulders, and it isn’t doing her any favors.

I so much want George to really be guilty. That would fix the one major complaint that I have had all along with this show (that George seemed too likable, including that before this, the only known victims of his rapacious activities were unsympathetic rich people themselves).

1. I have to be honest, I don’t find Marian very interesting. She seems to me another variation on the spirited-young-lady-with-more-progressive-politics-than-her-family period drama protagonist, and I keep thinking that Peggy or Gladys would have made for a more interesting focalizer. I wish Marian just had a bit
