Ewww... you’re so right. Female, of course.

Thank you, MS. There is some semblance of balance back in my life now, plus I’ve been serenaded, which is very lovely of you.

My point exactly. He’s incognito...

MatisyahuSerious, you changed your avatar and now I feel like I don’t know you anymore. Please don’t confuse me by acknowledging that you don’t know me, because I already know that.

I think in today’s jargon, it should be stated, “She became deceased.”

“... became deceased.” Worst use of passive voice EVER.

Scarves, chunky rings, scarves, bead necklaces, chunky rings, scarves, eyeliner.

Thank you. May have to play this on repeat throughout the day (next 3.5 years).

And you as well!

My first grade students received anywhere from $1 to $20 (yipes!). I’d go with one dollar. I don’t know if the kids really compare with each other with any real understanding.

It’s such a great feeling, isn’t it?! We moved into our house a month ago. We started to get settled in, but now we’re one week into a pretty big renovation, so we had to drag boxes back out into the garage. I keep telling myself, No worries... we’re here for the long haul. There will be plenty of time to unpack

I have those same moments. It’s like that moment when you first wake up and in your foggy mind you remember that something awful has happened and there are going to be some rough days... Only in this case it’s the realization that there is severe damage to people, our environment, and our future.

Woo hoo! My husband and I moved to Folsom CA a week ago, right at the start of temps above 105, and have been opening boxes. We found the dish that goes in the microwave! We found the cutting board! All of the careful packing and labeling I thought I did wasn’t all that good after all, but now we have the basics

Was going to recommend Uniqlo, also. Love them, and they often have sales, too.

That’s why I always say “It’s good to see you” when I meet someone just in case we’ve actually met before. I have a terrible memory for faces!

I won on the word “church” and I thought I must be brilliant since my family didn’t even go to church, but I STILL KNEW HOW TO SPELL IT. I was later disappointed to discover that I wasn’t brilliant, maybe just good at phonics.

A handsome, suave man if there ever was one.

LOL, neither did we! I suppose it could be because we’re both in our mid-50s, marrying for the first time for both of us, so it was kind of a “Finally we’ve joined the married-people club” kind of thing :)

It’s funny you say that; I had the opposite reaction. We lived together for seven years before we got married, yet we both felt different being married — different in a good way.

Congrats! My husband and I just closed on a house in Folsom, CA (any Jezzies near there?), and we’ll move up in about a month. We are sooooo looking forward to getting up there and settling in to our new place. Fingers crossed that your offer is accepted!
