Look for WINS for the MAC OS. I imagine someone somewhere has made a port for MAC to run WINS. then you can just run IE native in the MAC.

This looks well and good, but the title is miss leading, I am looking to re-purpose an old PC, this requires higher specs than I have available. Will Look for a solution on the Linux Distro front.. Thanks for the article.
