Agreed, this approach is very much why I’m still loving the hell out of the game despite being barely into the Atlas line of missions and 30+ hours in. It’s a great comfort game when all you WANT to do, is float around in your ship and see weird stuff.

I can’t hate on it too much. At least it shows actual gameplay footage and lightly discusses what you can expect from the game. We get lots of AAA titles wth zero gameplay footage in the ad and lots of pre-rendered “none of this is actually in the box” scenes
