The 67 characters thing was tongue-in-cheek, like saying "there's a million characters in this movie" but with too small a number for people to understand what he meant, I suppose.

Wow, good reviews, too. Lots of comparisons to Veronica Mars, Nancy Drew, etc. I might actually… check this out?

Going to the movies is expensive, but for me it's not $50 per outing expensive. I suppose you need to charge that much because you can't control how many people are in the room watching the movie, but I tend to only watch movies with my wife so this service wouldn't be valuable for me.

Yes, I think you're exactly right. I'm glad I scrolled down before commenting because this is better-written than what I would have posted.

I love many types of dessert, but would rather not eat peanut butter, coconut, or mint, so I never eat Girl Scout Cookies. I always feel a bit left out this time of year when everyone is so excited. I wish they made a chocolate chip, or even a snickerdoodle would be fine.

I went through a period in my life, perhaps out of embarrassment for skipping college, where I tried to read "the classics." For the most part, these were difficult reads, and hard to appreciate or even finish. To Kill a Mockingbird was one of the only ones I absolutely enjoyed. A brilliant book and a pure pleasure to

By now he's been defeated so many times, including in his introduction in the Flash/Arrow crossover, it's like whooooooooooo cares. Damian Darhk and Zoom are apparently so unstoppable we need an entire season to get a single victory against either one, but glass jaw Vandal Savage is the one that somehow took over the

I don't know how many more times they can have Savage at a clear physical disadvantage, where they could easily arrange for Kendra to just stab him or whatever she has to do, and instead just leave him behind, without losing me entirely. It feels like they just don't care about the premise of their own show.

I watched Bunheads first, and then Gilmore Girls. So far I have only gotten through the first season of Gilmore Girls, though I will probably start the second season this year. But I fell way harder in love with the 18 episodes of Bunheads I've seen than the 21 episodes of Gilmore Girls I've seen. Bunheads had me

I was too distracted by how much the train passengers in the background did not care about what was happening. The Flash just appears on your train, has a heart-to-heart with a random lady, and then disappears, and the woman in the background is just reading her newspaper like who cares. "Hmm, good Ziggy today…"

It's hard to take this secret identity angst seriously after revealing who he is to Hawkgirl and Hawkman after knowing them for five minutes. And even telling Hawkgirl who Green Arrow is without his consent! Ugh, I'm still annoyed at that crossover.

Yvonne Strahovski or no deal! She was the best part of the last 24 season, and could easily carry the show.

You're completely right. It's all about easy targets — even the Sandler/Kevin James stuff — which, even when you're talking about millionaires, starts to feel like punching down after a while. Like no one really needs to take 50 Shades off it's "high horse". It's fine. And even if they legitimately were trying to find

That's pretty great

I used to do something like this when my DVR could only record two shows at once. Now that I can record like five shows then any concern or even awareness of what night a TV show airs is out the window.

I watched the entire season of The Comedians. It wasn't a GREAT show, sure, but every time I considered quitting it would give me a good laugh and I'd decide to keep watching.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with her discography.

I saw this show on 12/3. A lot of fun, with a good mix of Christmas songs and a few non-Christmas songs. Liz Phair's "Why Can't I Wreathe" was fun and Aimee Mann did a Christmas-version of "Voices Carry". They even did some schtick, like a real Christmas variety show.

Netflix quickly went from "I have time to check out all of Netflix's original content and decide for myself" to "I'll have to wait and see what people say".

Some quick Googling says that the audience for Guardians of the Galaxy was 44% female and Avengers was 40% female. Even Man of Steel had a 40% female audience. Sure technically that's underrepresented but all of the women I know go to and enjoy super hero movies.
