Right, just like how SCUBA should be pronounced “Skuhba” since the U stands for “Underwater.” It’s so annoying when people insist on pronouncing it “Skooba.”

It’s a shame she never got over that speech impediment.
The thing that’ll always stick in my head about remembering how much gaming knowledge I take for granted was a few years ago when the mortal kombat reboot came out. I wasn’t planning to pick it up, but grabbed it in a steam sale after the girl I was dating at the time saw it and was fondly remembering playing the…
I’m the same way, people always give me crap about how obnoxiously polite I am to service workers, and that I’m too forgiving when there’s a mistake with my order/food’s slow to come out/whatever. Those same people also wonder why wait staff always seem to be a little more friendly to me.
So... to put it simply: “I’ve never tried to handle the situation like an adult, I just assume they’re doing it specifically to piss me off?”
How do they normally react when you say “Excuse me, your hair is hanging into my space and it’s bothering me, could you please move it?” That way would probably take less willpower.
Seriously, how hard is it to say “Sorry, your seat back is cramping my knees, would you mind putting it up just a little bit?”
I never watched the movie and haven’t seen this show, but I don’t see why knowing that it ends with the bad guys in control makes the story not worth telling. Lots of classic stories start with a narrator telling us how they end, and are no less worthwhile as a result
“From forth the fatal loins of these two foes

Series is called “Two Sentence Horror Stories.”
Counter-counterpoint: As bad as Jane was, there exists a movie in which Natalie Portman has given a good performance. There has never been any evidence that Kat Dennings can act.
I understood your point. My point was that Kat Dennings is terrible in literally every role she’s ever had, and that the only storyline worth exploring with Darcy would be one that ended with her being retroactively removed from all copies of the first two Thor movies.
I’ll definitely agree that every role she’s been in to date has been badly written, but I’d still argue her biggest problem is that she’s a bad actress.
Yeah, but Kat Dennings in a show drastically reduces the odds it'll be watchable. Especially considering she'll be reprising the worst character in the entire MCU.
To be fair, it probably would be detrimental to your health to inject pot into your veins.
It actually is marketed as a parody. If you click into the photos, it actually says “A parody of the classic” on the side of the box. Basically, Hasbro has realized that most of its famous games kinda suck compared to modern boardgames, and in response has put out a whole line of parody versions of their games.
I love/hate that in 2019, I’m not at all surprised that a review of a chicken sandwich leads to an argument about eternal damnation.
I don’t mean this as a critique of this specific comic, obviously they’re exaggerating it for comedic/surreal effect, but I never understood the trope of Ikea being impossible to navigate. They literally have maps in every section, and at least in the ones I’ve been in, the shortcuts were always labeled with which…
Basketball isn’t fundamentally designed around having that element of randomness. Smash is designed to be a light-hearted, goofy party game. Some aspect of chance is part of the spirit of the game.
Never underestimate competitive gaming’s ability to forget that games are supposed to be fun.
This isn’t complaining about something that any reasonable person still has to participate in, like it would be for the example of “Avoid anything that uses AWS” which the author specifically calls out as unrealistic. It’s actually pretty easy to run a blog without directly advertising for the company you are…
