This seems like a decision based on market research. I’m speculating (obviously, as this is the internet), but it wouldn’t surprise me that the target demographic for the toys are young boys, and research indicates young boys are more likely to buy action figures they believe to be male. In order to shift more units,

“I wouldn’t walk in that centre at night. That centre is haunted.”

I’m more angry that I now have to spend £400 on a next gen console and a copy of Destiny to get the most out of my next can of Red Bull.

Me and a friend played a fun game at the cinema the other day. How many trailers have that bassy Inception sound in them as something potentially threatening happens on screen. The answer?

Agreed. We’ve already seen Thoros bring back Beric Dondarian, and as Red Priests go he was a pretty casual follower. I’m sure if Melisandre brings Jon back she’s got the skill to breathe something extra into him, like a pair of wings or telepathy, or something.

I think the the Gotham quality you are looking for is ‘Grimp’, the exact centre point between Gritty and Camp. Gotham is an exceptionally grimpy show.

Over the last four years or so I’ve listened to a lot of Kevin Smith’s podcasts, and found them increasingly susceptible to the law of diminishing returns.

It wasn’t the worst part, but the constant references to her ‘cousin’ grated on me. Why wouldn’t he come visit? Licence rights conflicts? I don’t think even Superman is that much of a boyscout.

Is there any reason that they can’t do Green Lantern? I know it was said in the past that Bruce and Clarke are off the table, but does anybody know if the same restrictions apply to WW, GL and the rest?

You could make it happen. You just need leverage.

Is that Xena, or Amon Amarth’s tambourine player?

Roland Deschain should get an honourable mention.

Do human rights apply to meta-humans?

Also, the name Fish Mooney is quite common throughout most of west Norfolk.

Cube will always stand out in my mind for one simple reason- the blurb on the ex-rental copy in the bargain bin at Blockbusters. A bunch of stickers covered all but the first sentence:
