Perhaps Britta's choice of food at lunch a reference to SE02EP04 (The Psychology of letting go) when Annie said about Britta "I wear stripper boots during the day and eat only celery and mustard for lunch". Those sandwhiches looked a lot like mustard and celery!

Britta receiving the i-pod nano was classic. In Season 1.22 "The Art of Discourse", she got stick from those kids for having a discman. During the food-fight scene, it noted that she became a proud owner of an i-pod nano, 2014.
