Stupid electronic parking brake.

  • Lincoln accurately points out that the purpose of an automobile focuses around arrival and departure

While C&D is my favorite car magazine, I got the 230mph number straight from Gordon Murray and Ron Dennis in the book they co-authored, Driving Ambition: The Official Inside Story of the McLaren F-1.

Please hand in your Jalop-card immediately. Top speed of the McLaren F1 stood for over two decades at a (limited) 230 mph, or (limiter removed) 240.1 mph.

From what I know, P typically refers the Malaysia or the Phillipines. F10's are assembled in Shah Alam, Malaysia, presumably from nearly 100% German parts. What's the 2nd character?

Uh oh.

I beg to differ. Nothing is more yellow than something Teutonic.

What’s the puppy majoring in?

Tavarish, once again, your opinion is wrong.

Which one of you has the best daily driver and what is it?

I wish my 911 sounded like your Boxster on startup. My god that sound is arousing.

I’m not worried. The McLaren only has 2 seats, can’t be the perfect family car/DD/track toy.

That is a very cool tail light. Luckily at night the grille is harder to see, but the tail light shines brightly.

LOL. You mean this guy? Because he’s the leader of AQAP and hasn’t been in GITMO. Keep trying though.

largely against the move for political reasons

Alt + 0198 (on the number pad) = Æ
Alt + 0230 = æ

and pulled the look off better with a high-contrast aesthetic

Would watch/10

Raphael, what a wonderful piece of writing and a great look back. This is why I read Jalopnik every single day. Thank you!

What’s funny is that in the video above from his stint as SIARPC, he doesn’t pronounce the “a” when listing his cars.
