You’re being myopic. I want to live in a world where trans people get hired like cis people. If you think that’s a bad look, then great, be happy that trans actors only get hired when there’s a trans role. I’m sure THAT is a good look.

There’s a part of me that wished Nia wasn’t transgender, as trans actors almost never get cisgender roles. It would have been a major milestone in that regard.

What’s funny is that I totally expected her to trip over the minefield of flying fabric or trip on her 7 inch heels. Nope. She survives all the booby-traps and just sorta tilts over.

I hope that Nia is just a girl on the show and not explicitly transgender. A bigger win for the trans community would be a trans actor in a cis role.

This is what I hate: Don’t bring up Weinstein. Let her roast on her own crimes. The guy that assaulted all those gymnasts was apparently raped as a child. If someone brought that up when discussing him, I’d punch them in the face to help cure their tone-deafness.
