I think you got that confused. IMO Astons and Ferraris are all about the beauty - but the Lotus is about the soul. I wouldn’t consider these “well engineered”, they may come off as “well engineered” to us, but that is just because these cars are inherently much more simple than any Aston, Ferrari or Porsche offering.
