Oh look, it’s micropenis again.

Hey you should should really try to bitch about DEI in every comment you make it’s doing wonders for you.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson seems like a fine choice. As for Elba, I’ve always felt the main issue holding him back was his age. That said, my ideal scenario for the next Bond movie is basically the plot of Men in Black or Kingsman, with Elba playing 001 who is ready for retirement and his last job is to train the new 007.

Patel would be a great choice

I wasn’t a huge fan of this choice when it was first rumored a year or so ago but after seeing Bullet Train, I can totally buy it.

Personally, I would like to see a version of the story that questions whether you can actually express love through violence. If you’re going to tweak the material, you might as well ask the obvious question of why the magical crow turns sad men into sadistic rage machines.

That being said, the only change I would like to see is the concept of what makes The Crow bring someone back. Just a subtle but effective change where it takes something more than just a tragic death to bring you back.

The original movie also had a memorable mixture of tones. The scenes with Ernie Hudson are intentionally silly, the scenes with the little girl are sweet, the scenes with Michael Wincott and Bai Ling are bonkers, the scenes where Eric kills someone are exciting. And then there are flashbacks to a pretty graphic rape

Well, the movie has been made. It’s going to be released. It’s safe to say that so far it has audiences divided. Plenty of people are giving this a chance and plenty of people are not liking what they’re seeing. So this isn’t so much about liking the original Crow film and what makes it timeless and tragic or what

Definitely looks like he’s been working out with his brother.

The trailer looked like some nasty fun.  I fully support Bill Skarsgård’s apparent decision to make absolutely bonkers action movies his thing.

Skarsgard’s hairdo was distracting but getting past that, this looks like it could kick some ass.

I understand where Proyas is coming from, but if anybody is going to play gatekeeper it should be James O'Barr. He created the comic as a means of dealing with his fiance getting killed by a drunk driver, then watched the narrative of the character get permanently associated with the death of someone else instead.

I just love that the Netflix higher-ups said “If The Crown’s crew doesn’t have the balls to cover this, we’ll just find someone else who will.”

Wasn’t Peck one of those douchebags who ran with Bryan Singer’s band of pedos?

To the uninitiated: Idina Menzel originated the Wicked Witch on broadway. Her big hit song was “Defying Gravity”. Years later Idina Menzel went on to star in the movie Frozen and sung a comparably epic song called “Let It Go”.

Long story short, tears might role down my face when I see that song on the big screen.

Sure, there have been reports of turmoil behind the scenes, but that’s just part of Coppola’s process”

What era was this sentence written in...?

Agreed. I’m really bored by fight scenes these days, but Dune 2 built anticipation and delivered. It helped that the fight sequences were shorter than in a MCU movie, where two CGI characters punch each other for ten minutes.

Dune 2 was the first time since Dunkirk that I’ve really felt exhilaration in a movie theatre. Acting aside, it’s my early vote for Directing, Editing, Cinematography, Adapted Screenplay, VFX, Sound, Production Design, Costuming.

I’ll take that bet.

To be clear I am betting against your prediction. The Bikeriders will get at least one oscar nom.

I have no desire to even see this movie, but think it will be nominated at least once.
