The differences between airports are frustrating. The same sorts of things have happened to me. I want to comply! I want to do exactly what the TSA is asking so I can GTF out of there but the differences in procedures makes that tough. Bin v. no bin with the scanner, shoes v. no shoes, ID & boarding pass v. just ID or

Paul does not abandon Chani. In the movie she left of her own agenda. In the book, they remain a tight couple. He only married Irulan for political reasons. They are not intimate and have no children.

Language evolves. It has since the beginning of human existence. Get over it.

Nonbinary people may feel great using any of those pronouns.

Space transformation has very real positive mental impacts. Many of the heroes are important people in their community and the work that Bobby does to uplift small businesses, community centers, schools, etc. is super powerful and meaningful. I fucking love the AMC ads. Get those dollars Nicole!

Part 2 has some comic relief and nods to the 1984 version that are fun. This is a dramatic science fiction epic though so not a barrel of laughs.

Do not fear. The visual effects in Dune Part 2 are nothing like the shit Marvel turns out. The visual effects are stunning and are very effective in helping to tell the story.

My thoughts exactly! Time for a re-watch.

Exactly. This weekend I re-watched Dune and Oppenheimer. Two long and very enjoyable movies.

Season 2 sucks. Season 3 is interesting but can’t touch season 1.

You are not wrong in your assessment!

You sure can! It’s just an observation I have about my fellow movie people.

The story was real hard to find in this one as well...

I feel you on that. However, there is a big difference between making a layered and fun movie where not everything is explained, but it has a clear story, with an emotional center, and a satisfying, if beckoning for more ending. That is Nolan in a nutshell.

It is my opinion that you can tell a real movie buff when they tell you that The Prestige is Nolan’s best.

Right. The Illusionist is very mid. I am convinced it’s only remembered today as that other magician movie that came out around the same time as The Prestige.
