I completely agree with you. I found out that Ducky was originally going to be played by Robert Downey Jr. and the ending was he gets the girl. That would have made more sense for me because RDJ can bring the charisma and heat that would have been necessary to the role to make Andie and Ducky add up. 

I think had Ducky had some minor character adjustments and been played by Robert Downey Jr (as was originally intended) it would have made sense for him to get the girl. 

Exactly, and it is awesome. Ragnarok and Guardians both prove that you can take the basic Marvel style and framework, tweak it a bit by infusing more substance and humor, and you get a superior product. Warner Bros tried to do this to poor results with Justice League. I very much doubt that a Snyder cut will be better…

I completely agree with you. I have watched Eyes Wide Shut 6 or 7 times and come away from the experience each time with something new. Cruise and Kidman were spectacular. 

I take issue with the notion that Tom Cruise doesn’t have a comedic bone in his body. He revived his career by playing an unrecognizable and hilariously physical character in Tropic Thunder back in 2008. 

I watched this again last night and I now think you are correct. I love how subtle and at times ambiguous this show is! Another thing I picked up on is Pete telling Perry “you won” as in there were two other jurors that were holds outs so he would know he did his job well and didn’t actually need to bribe juror #3…

I think Pete bribed juror #3 to save Perry and it turned out two other jurors were also hold outs so Perry did his job well enough to save Emily without Pete intervening. I don’t think Perry knows Pete paid off that juror at all. 

I disagree with the reviewer. I don’t think Perry was in our the bribe to the juror I think it was all Pete. That’s why Perry was freaking out so much about getting Ennis on the stand. He saw it as the only way to clear Emily. Pete bribed the juror to save Perry/Emily and was then surprised two other jurors where hold…
