I do not disagree with you that the actors lack chemistry but the relationship between Roger and Bri is a turn off in the books as well. Fiery Cross is the last Outlander book I read at least in part because of how bored I was with them.

Most women would be blown away by a handsome man taking her to the opera. That has nothing to do with being a sex worker.

I completely agree. This would have been so much better as a tight 5 part limited series. Everything got way less scary with each passing episode.

No, it was a hallucination because of a brain tumor. It was still terrible even when we got the proper explanation for it.

Portman had already exited Marvel way prior to Thor Ragnarok so do not put that on Taika.

I think Beth was sympathetic it just took her a minute to remember why Randall was reacting that way.

Tamika is visited by the hoodie monster because she keeps trying to communicate with Jack and find out what is wrong. The monster is warning her to leave Jack alone or he will take her baby.

I disagree. Blood and Fire is a veritable goldmine of interesting and rich characters with complicated and exciting stories. I think HBO made the right call. They know that when they pair Martin’s storytelling with their high production values they produce top notch entertainment. They have that in spades by adapting

I completely agree and that is part of what makes the story so entertaining. As a reader I was delighted by the moral ambiguity.

It is not a Mr. Rogers biopic at all. It is about the emotional journey of a reporter that interviews Fred Rogers. Matthew Rhys plays the reporter so he is the lead.

If you actually read the entire article Konner wrote in Lenny Letter it is very specific that Lena was uncomfortable and that what Reiner did was 100% wrong. Lena Dunham is obviously very known for her own nudity and her frank depictions of sexuality but she has never been accused of forcing another actor to

What is normal is that he set a very clear boundary of I do not watch or listen to clips of myself and they violated it so he walked out like a normal and healthy person would when their boundaries are violated. Terry Gross is the asshole here not Adam Driver.

Ehh did it really? The mystery in season 3 was pretty lame. Season 1 is the only True Detective worth watching. If it comes back for a season 4 I am not sure I would watch it.

Ellen has had a huge part in moving the cultural needle in the right direction through entertainment when it comes to acceptance for gay people. Has everyone suddenly forgot what the world was like 20 years ago? Even 4 or 5 years ago before marriage equality in 2015? We still have a lot of work to do in this area but

Exactly! It was also a hit and run which makes it much worse!

I do not buy this theory at all particularly the bit about being more struck by Alison. The actual affair was way more about Noah’s ego and entitlement than it ever was about being in love with Alison. On Alison’s side it was about her grief and trying to run away from the loss of Gabriel.

You are calling me insecure for pointing out the very obvious thing that your subjective take is not the 100% black and white truth? Ok bro.

While Noah’s section was essentially a complete odious disaster, I really enjoyed Whitney and Joanie’s perspectives this week. It was amazing to see Whitney working so hard and interesting that she is essentially living a parallel life with Helen at that age taking care of a selfish artist. I really doubt Colin is

OR people just react to things differently.

I know adults who were terrified. Is the movie scary has a subjective answer rather than an absolute.
