I just re-watched Eyes Wide Shut for the 20th anniversary and you are right he is excellent in it. 

Green Book and Crash are way worse. I genuinely enjoyed The Departed and I loved the performances. It is a much better film than either of the two I listed.

The Secret History is one of my favorite books. I read it every few years in the fall. I think it would be better as a limited series on HBO. No more than 5 episodes.

Somehow I think Lorne is actually even worse because he then put the entire weight of the project on Chris by demanding he sleep with her. Amy is 100% in the wrong here but Lorne is at 200% easily. 

No way Rakan deserved it. His designs were ugly or not well considered and his lack of work ethic made that even worse. Christian was right to call that out. Tim used to do the sam thing when people were not working hard enough. 

I saw it with a female friend who loved it and still staunchly defends it to this day. It blows my mind every time. 

That is a highly accurate review of the movie. This is the worst movie I have ever sat all the way through in a theater. Had I not been there with other people I would have walked out.

I think it is far more than Jon smells like Dany so Drogon doesn’t kill him. Dragons have human levels of intelligence and are mentally linked with their riders. Drogon understood why Jon killed Dany and destroyed the throne in response to her death. 

This is exactly what I have been saying! It was ash all along. Dany was never going to make a different choice. 

This would be such a fun anthology to watch! I hope HBO does something like this in the future. 

Again, it is not that she has “always been mad” it is that her nature is that of a killer and her better instincts have previously been reinforced by good council she trusted. She no longer has that so she has embraced her fire and blood side. 

Jon will not sit on the iron throne. The throne will not exist by the end of the next episode. 

That is because every scene with Euron is horrible. The acting is atrocious. It is like a low budget bad Johnny Depp impression. 

Jon has half Stark blood which helps his overall health and chance at mental stability whereas Dany comes from a long line of incest (brothers marrying sisters). Jon and his future children are much less likely to be mentally compromised.
