I think Sharp Objects is much better than Gone Girl. I liked the first half of Gone Girl and then hate read the rest. Sharp Objects however is very compelling and twisted in interesting ways.

There is something very off about the characterization and the insane timeline problem just makes the story needlessly complicated. I am just meh about this show at this point. I am not even sure I will watch season 3.
