It is neither of those things. I saw it on opening day and it is not a crappy bio pic or a klan movie. I think the title “Birth of a Nation” is more in relation to Black American culture and alluding to the slaves who fought for their freedom in the Civil War which we get a glimpse of in the final moments of the film.
