They put so much effort and detail into the time-travel mechanic that you’d think it was part of the entire game. Hell after this mission I had serious issues because I kept trying to phase back and forth during the regular game afterwards.

I played the campaigns of BF1, Titanfall 2, and Infinite Warfare. Only one left is Gears 4 to complete Shooter Fest Pew Pew 2016. Having said that, Titanfall 2 was the best one by far. I tweeted to Respawn to tell them which is rare for me just because I wanted them to know. I doubt Gears 4 will top it either in my…
This was truly one of the more riveting campaigns I have gone through in a FPS, and definitely one of my favorites.
You just sold me on the game. I probably won’t get it right away (still have two campaigns in Destiny to finish) but I’ll get it in time for the holidays, definitely. I love it when games have novelty levels like this, and from your article, it seems like it’s more than just this one level. Great read!
What I loved so much about this campaign was that I didn’t want to continue on because of the story, but rather because I was so excited to see what the developers would throw at me next. I didn’t finish it because I felt like I had to, like with so many FPS games; I finished it because it was fun.
What’s kinda funny is I think this will take some thunder out of Dishonored 2's campaign, because they showed a similar ability last E3 through that object on your wrist that would show an alternate time period through those shards of glass that you can transition to.
The pacing of the campgin is fantastic. It may have the best pacing since HL2. And this level is just all kinds of fun. And the shock I felt when I realised that I wasn’t looking into the past but was IN the past was great. I walked into the theater where the guy was on stage talking and I just ran down the aisle with…
Definitely the mission that convinced me Titanfall 2 is something special. But not the only standout, every level has it’s own flavour without repeating, which makes the game feel so fresh and light. And it means most people will probably have a favourite. A full titan assault, an aerial chase, that later section…
Please don’t shoot the serve bot. He’s a good boy!
I think if you like multiplayer in shooters, there’s a good chance you’ll love Titanfall 2.
The BF1 campaign is ridiculously short and, while cool at moments, generally a waste of time if you are looking for a great single player experience. Took me probably 3 hours to finish all of the stories and none of them were very extensive or gripping.
Arcade stick vs Controller is a preference though. There’s no overwhelming advantage to using either.
For single player games sure, but in console multiplayer it gives you such an enormous look speed/accuracy advantage that even pro players with controllers would have trouble competing. You’ll never see a CS:GO pro team or any other pro FPS PC gamers using controllers because they’re “more comfortable” for this exact…
At $149.99, it’s ridiculously overpriced for PC users. There are much better options like the Logitech G13 or the Razer Tartarus.
What a time to be alive. 5-6 million sales is shit.
Let me get this straight.
When you consider the amount of time and effort that went into creating this game, I can’t imagine thinking $25 is too much.
Gamers are so cheap nowadays...and I’m only 20. $25 for this is great.
$25 seems just about perfect for what this is. If the game were only 3 hours long then I might agree with you.
