Is she really that popular, because I've never heard of herbivore.

To paraphrase CC, you're never hurt by what you don't say!

The Prez *is* kinda cool!

Prince Fielder is incredibly gorgeous and is a joy to watch on the baseball diamond. Hope your neck surgery has an easy recovery, Prince! If you need, like, I don't know, a sports medicine person to come to your house and help you, er, recover, I'm here for you.

Why do you take the escalator if you want to walk? Why not take the stairs? Is it a time saving thing? I can't remember ever being in that much of a hurry, but then, I have the metabolism of a sloth.

Walking up an escalator saves like 75% of the time. You freaking fly upstairs. I honestly can't stand people who get on an escalator and think they're going for a pleasant little joy ride, but then again those people make up like 98.78% of the population, so I just deal with them and say "excuse me."

The escalator escalates you to your destination, but only if you walk. If you stand, the escalator has elevated you to your destination.

There isn't always a stairs option, and sometimes I don't want to stand on a very long escalator forever. Think Angel tube station in London. Or I am very busy and important!

too much frosting. stuff in frosting. frosting too stiff.

Irrelevant. Strength of will and perseverence cannot alone cannot take on a dozens of kilometers trek while carrying 45kg of equipment. Men can do it and do do it. THEY HAVE TO. It keeps them alive. If a woman can do it, then let her in. If she cannot, don't. Everything else is irresponsible and puts women's lives in

That's my mother in the picture above, she enlisted in the Women Marines just after Pearl Harbor. She's 91 now. This past Memorial Day weekend, after spending over two months in the hospital, to our amazement, she left her walker and pulled herself up a flight of stairs to have dinner with the family. So, 91 and

I would point out, to everyone who is so quick to say "I can do pull-ups!" that Marine Corps pull-ups are each done from a dead hang (elbows locked out) and zero 'kipping' (kicking your legs) I know plenty of people that can pound out 20 conventional pull-ups who aren't able to do three of the perfect form Marine

"A more fulfilling job not resulting in deaths of innocents overseas that pays a human wage and doesn't throw human resource away when it fails or gets sick AND DOESN'T COVER UP THE CRIMES OF OTHERS."

I'm not saying it's "noble." I'm saying that it's someone's choice to do that job. Some jobs suck. Someone has to do them, though, and if you want equality, that will include women. That's life.

MOST military enlisted jobs are not even as dignified as "working class" jobs. THOSE are at least two steps up from being beaten or jailed for not performing your duty. And DEFINITELY better than being in a system that actively covers up RAPE in uniform. CIVILIANS, PLEASE. Stop. Unless you DONE it, don't speculate on

Storytime with Mizz Krishna:

As soon as a woman knows she's physically fit for tough jobs, she's also pretty socially empowered enough to develop her mind to the point where she knows those jobs aren't for her, IMHO.

The first time I heard her speak my reaction was a viceral RUN AWAY ITS ANOTHER FUCKING CHEERLEADER WHY AM I HAVING NIGHTMARES ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL AT MY AGE?!!!?
