What do you mean though? The villagers in New Horizons celebrated Bunny Day. They had dialogue about it. Hell, they even dressed up. I swear I saw complaints about how much of their dialogue was about the Bunny Day event during its run-time. I’m pretty sure that’s going to be consistent throughout all relevant

Yes! I was expecting that. Perhaps a line of my villagers queued up to get in and wake up Blathers first thing in the morning on day one and everyone zipping around to get their stickers woulda been super cute. Hope they get on that for the next one. Happy sticker hunting everyone!

It’s not super exciting but I thought it was kind of cute (and not really intrusive) and I was happy to get the plaques. Why can’t it just be a cute little thing that gives you cute little rewards?

agree that the show has generally failed to have a gripping overarching plot since season 1. my thing is, just stop trying. look at legends! the overarching plots are in the background, the adventure of the week is front and center. i wish more berlantiverse shows would try this!

If I were Feige I’d have a long talk with Sony execs about what Orci’s hiring says about their treatment of the Spider-Man brand.

9/11 was a ploy by SHIELD (Hydra) to expand the surveillance state, ultimately leading to Project Insight.

Does anyone think that JJ Abrams took the time out to read some comic from 5 years ago?

the ONE good idea the otherwise horrible Superman Returns game had was not giving Supes a lifebar, and instead giving Metropolis a “collateral damage” meter, so you had to complete every fight being careful of your surroundings. That mechanic in a better game would rule, and it’s very true to the character.

Or they simply had to fit around Olsen’s availability. Aside from anything else she might be doing, Marvel have her filming Doctor Strange 2 over the coming months and presumably wanted WandaVision out the way first.

Considering Alien Isolation is one of my favorite games, I have to disagree.

It’s amazing how less funny that gif is each time I see it.

I’d take either (tv or film).  But this is a project I had no idea I needed in my life, until now...

... Dave Bautista revealed James Gunn has an idea for a Drax and Mantis spinoff film.

Bad take

It’s nice to hear that the director is in the same camp as me, growing up with the originals but also loving the awesome recent trilogy.

Not sure if it is the level I’ve played the most but the last level of Halo where you drive the warthog through a collapsing portion of the installation is a level I kept starting up just to play it. It’s just an excellent set piece.

I’m honestly quite cynical about this. A lot of it seems to very conveniently be the opposite, or fill in things, that loads of people have been complaining about from TROS (like Rose’s role, or the Force Ghosts coming to town, or Luke having a big role haunting Kylo). Just feels a bit too *neat* to me.

The only thing I hated about TLJ was Leia in space. It just felt completely out of place and out of left field. I wasn’t a fan of the Canto Bight scene either but it wasn’t the worst ever.

I’d really like to just have one of the TFA loving TLJ haters to come up with an idea that would make sense given what we got established in 7 that’s better than what 8 did.

I don’t understand people’s frustration with TLJ. I’ve always felt so much bad happened in the Star Wars universe because the Jedi adhered so strongly to their beliefs. The story was always the same. They were forced to leave their loved ones, told not to love, etc., and shit eventually came back to bite them in the
