Black Panther is many orders of magnitude better than Bohemian Rhapsody.

I agree, it feels like a list specifically made to get ASiB the BPGG, which it stood a very good chance of doing even in a category with better nominees

And Vice is a comedy.

A Star is Born is apparently not a musical.

And honestly, I already get a different kind of vibe from this. It seems warmer and more lo-fi, like we’re looking at a Marvel world before the events of Iron Man, where things were quieter and less weird.

People say this every time we get one of those trailers and yet we have gotten Black Panther, Ragnarok, both Ant-mans and Doctor Strange which have all had very distinct styles outside the “studio Marvel” style.

Eh, that’s impossible to judge from a trailer. It’s written and directed by Boden and Fleck and their strengths, interpersonal and character drama, aren’t really going to come through in a trailer that also needs to show some whiz bang special effects. I’m not saying they can definitely intergrate their style with a

I always find it amusing that the generation clash is always viewed as being millennials vs baby boomers. Poor old Gen X just gets forgotten, which seems like the most Gen X thing it could really do.

*High 5*. Remember when Gen X was told that we were “the first generation whose income would not exceed our parents”?

Enjoy your fucking, NYC and NOVA.

I made the mistake of being willing for one milisecond to give this Crenshaw guy the benefit of the doubt, but one look at his Ballotopedia change quickly remedied that. The dude makes multiple references to “radical leftists”, says abortions are evil, that liberals hate free speech and don’t know how guns work so

Whatever. Crenshaw is a Republican. With one eye, he can still look in the mirror and see a piece of shit.

They’ve never released an unfinished game. Just some unpolished ones. There’s a very, very big difference.

So they specifically saved two randos because of their superlative genes ... then don’t want them to procreate?

Haha leftists are so offended by dumb stuff. Now that that’s out of the way let me throw an embarrassing tantrum about a movie I probably wouldn’t have seen anyway.

This looks APESHIT. I hope it hits consoles.

Not sure what your point is here. It’s already a 2h30m movie. You don’t need two minutes of Rey flying a ship, landing it, then running over to the falcon.

When you get right down to it what the whiny assholes who still think RLM’s style of treating nitpicking is actual film criticism and clamor for a remake of TLJ just wanted the movie to be this:

Directors know how a film will look at 24 fps. A certain amount of motion blur is expected and needed for scenes. Especially CGI heavy stuff where the blur helps mask the artificial nature of CGI.
