Yeah definitely Marvel lite. It really sounds like the Disney plus shows are the only ones that will actually interact with the MCU.

It’ll be an MCU version of the X-men after this. But even though is will all go away, Hickman always tells a story start to finish and it’s usually pretty great. 

I would argue that, with a few beers, both sound incredibly watchable.

I have pretty low expectations. I loved the original but it came out when I was in high school so it could be easily worse than I remember. This seems like it’ll be a fun night at the theater though.

I get so sick of the bitching about servers day 1. I understand that people are excited to play the game and it’s disappointing but like at this point they should know it happens all the time.

Nah he’s done some great character work before. Whether it was all him or with the help of the writer’s who he worked with it’s hard to say but it’s unfair to simply write off all his work because of some less than stellar work.

The name Lindelof makes or breaks this show for a lot of people. Personally his name gets me excited. He doesn’t always hit it out of the park but when he does boy is it good. Yeah they seem pretty focused on standalone movies. My prediction is if they can build up some good will from their next couple of movies then we’ll start to see team up movies from them again. 

But there is already like 5 or 6 totally different versions of James Bond who clearly don’t exist in the same universe. Does it really matter at this point? (honestly asking not trying to be PC gone mad or anything)

Agreed! Weezer is a blast! You said it perfectly. All these people have such hard opinions on why Weezer sucks or where they went wrong but it’s like come on just relax, have a drink, and sing the chorus of the songs you kinda know.
