That scene fucked me up. Literally, every Aunt May scene is amazing and has a beautiful payoff.

ooo that’s very true I forgot about that. They left the door pretty wide open for his return.
Ah I figured but I had hope
Spider-man 2 is one of cinemas few perfect sequels. All around great movie.
Very true and he’s the one villain who returns. So I’m wondering/hopping vulture is a possibility
Random thought:
pun intended?
Reading this made me realize I don’t like watching any of these shows....except Legends.
“Woman takes over the world” better be the tag line for the third one.
No because the two younger guys they just had on it tried to turn it into an
comedyoriginal movie rather than atrue to the characterbland producer created origin story movie.
Honestly, I really don’t think it matters who finishes it. It seems like the producers just want someone who will make the movie they want.
Not made for the movie but only works in the context of the movie
For the main trilogy I think you have to keep doing a continuation of the story with the same characters. But yeah with the spin offs I’m totally with you. I don’t care if it’s the same characters but I wish they would at least try new things. Based on this firing and what happened to Rogue One, it’s very obvious…
My gut reaction is to say because Sony doesn’t know how to make a movie that people actually like. I’d be their logic is “these Spider-man villians have been around for 50 years, people love them”
I still seriously doubt Sony’s movies will be connected to Tom Holland’s Spider-man at all.
I’m assuming this comment came before the Han Solo news broke because Michael Bay is definitly not all that is wrong with Hollywood.
To me it really doesn’t matter who picks it up at this point. It’s clearly the Rogue One situation again and it’s going to end up being average at best. A new director at this point can’t make a real personal mark on the movie.
As a 23 year old male without kids I can sympathize with you. While I love Guardians of the Galaxy, they’re parts I wouldn’t want my future kids to see. That being said I did watch a ton of James Bond films as a kid and I’m sure any and all innuendo went right over my head.
Yeah it’s not like there’s aren’t other Easter eggs they’ve ignored
I actually really wanted it to be good. Though I knew it wouldn’t be. I hope they learn some lessons for the next film. The idea of a monster universe is super cool
