That's just the industry. The same thing could be said about call of duty like fps games. Same thing could be said about the movie industry

I was able to resist buying Disney Infinity despite my love for Pixar and content creators but I don't think I'll be able to resist this

I'm rather enjoying the survival genre, but I haven't found the one that fits perfectly for me yet. Personally I would love to see a game that lands somewhere in between dayz and state of decay. Survival multiplayer but not to ridiculously hard haha

X-men was well into filming by the time Marvel announced quick silver would be in the avengers. Honestly I don't think there is any competition between the two studios. The movies come out in different years.

I feel like a lot of fun activities in RDR weren't added on until later through dlc. More or less the same situation. Except with GTA V they confirmed heists before they were released and people expected it right away.
