definitely not a gimmick. Dan Slott was planing it for a while and the story of Doc slowly ruining Peter's life has been great. As for whether or not Peter takes his body back I guess we'll just have to come back tomorrow night and see who was right.

First of all you clearly haven't read any of Dan Slott's Big time run. Second, you haven't read it so you have no idea if Peter Parker is going to win or not. In fact all signs point to Doc Ock wining.
