I think the difference between Bluray and DVD has to be seen to be believed. Bluray absolutely has way better color depth and MUCH better black colors than DVD can ever reproduce. It's extremely stark if you try a DVD and then try a Bluray. Anime actually seems to benefit greatly from the sharp contrast of the colors…
