Is 17.
Yessir.
Does it lack turn signals?
In twenty years, is this going to play the same role the S13 'vert plays now?
It's a 1.6 Ecoboost @197 hp.
Those are tidy little wagons, I love them.
You can only engineer so much reliability. The rest is build quality.
Yeah, I think they need more hot hatch 'wisdom,' as in a few more models before they get the recipe right.
It would compete with the big boy hatches (GTI, Focus ST, MS3)—or is it too small? It's certainly less powerful than the aforementioned cars.
Fit Si would have been NA though. On a different note, seeing a Fiesta ST come out but no Mazdaspeed2 makes me sad. I heard the U.S. won't even get the next generation of the 2.
I think the VT has basically been damned as noncompetitive in its class.
Just a couple of months ago, my dad bought a 2010 Miata with 8k on the clock for 2/3 of what it's worth new, so I know exactly what you're talking about.
Weight loss is great, but let's see some exterior dimension loss too. That's one of the things I'm excited about for the ND Miata—it's supposed to be smaller on the outside. Let cars get too big and they eventually shed their niche in the market. For example, the Fit is the new old-Civic.
Agreed. All the decals and scorpion badges make up for the lack of a bright color. Plus, white on white wheels is pretty crazy.
I think it's the duty of the owners to buy this car in a vibrant color. Why would you want a crazy little hot hatch to be any different? Don't take yourself too seriously and get silver...
Well said.
Agreed on the donut's usefullness for storing small items!
Yeah, they're headquarted in Palo Alto, CA.
