It had me up to ‘MMO’. No thanks, I’d rather have single player and coop. If there are any pages to take from Elite Dangerous, they should absolutely have the three experiences as separate modes.

Been waiting for this article. To say I’m pretty fucking upset with Jared is an understatement. Been following his (and the rest of Normal Boots) stuff for years and years now. In his case stating with the PS Move video. Holly being involved in all of this makes it even shittier. The two of them can fuck right off,…
Scrolling down to the bottom of an article about a “fucking stupid” phenomenon you don’t watch to comment probably proves you don’t do much with your time anyways.
No, it’s the period correct coffee cups for that scene. The cinematographer says so because he shot it.
My old man used to playfully chide my neighbor for buying scratchies. Used to always say, “The lottery is a tax on people bad at math!”
Twitch is the monetized realization of everyone’s memory of sitting in a room playing through a game with their friends/siblings.
Spot on.
Same here, honestly theirs enough games in my existing library and new games from smaller devs who also self publish that I should be playing.
They’ll probably just pirate the game and delude themselves into thinking they’re taking the moral high ground.
Folks think I made it purple to trick them into seeing a fleshlight. I just made it purple to make it pop more and because those our Kotaku’s colors. lol But whoops!
Neither of these are licorice, no matter who makes them. Please delete all references to licorice in the article and considering following up with an article about one of the best candies known to humankind. Dutch licorice in particular.
At least real borosilicate glass - if you know enough to look for it - appears to still be plentifully available in the market, and cheap. If the actual product had become rare and expensive, while the brand noted for it charged premium prices for inferior product, THAT would be a shame.
Makes you wonder how things would have played out if Pyrex kept the quality and charged enough to pay for it. Seems to have worked out for Apple. Then again, nobody really needs to cook stuff in glass.
I hate when companies have a good thing then decide for whatever reason to change the formula to something inferior and still keep the name to confuse consumers.
Believe it it or not Blizzard said the Kul Tirans were one of the harder things for them to design, given how WoW’s armor works. Evidently it’s not as simple as we’re inclined to think, likely because of how old their systems are at this point, but that’s just conjecture on my part.
Synsha’s comment is the most on-point, going back on quality-of-life convenience changes is indicative of a dev team who aren’t really sure what direction the game should be going in
Marriage used to serve a much different purpose even within Christianity not that long ago. It was much more a property transaction. They do things every day counter to the doctrines of Christianity and yet that is the sticking point, half of them being divorced anyway.
“Profitable” just hides only part of the problem. Even if you operate at a loss, in the short and medium term (and arguably anything but the REALLY long term), it still isn’t sustainable. Americans like to ignore what happens after the put stuff in the black bin (“Destined for landfill”) or blue bin (“Destined for…
Gen 4 is a bit of misnomer but most games Gamefreak has been pretty consistent about not messing up the initial fire < water < grass < fire balance so electric is unlikely. I think any secondary type it gets won’t reduce it’s water weakness or give it a STAB against the water starter.
I think a lot of people don’t understand how good of a job Reggie has done, I look forward to the “wow I didn’t realize...” reactions to the numerous think pieces that are to come.
