However, with the US tarrifs in place retaliatory tarrifs of other countries will cause a stiff decrease in the export of US built vehicles. The US certainly loses there. Especially as America’s unilateralism and unreliability is bring other countries together.

I’ve never been as stressed in my life as I was when I was first starting out as a completely self-managed independent contractor.

There’s nothing exploitative or predatory about paying a consenting sex worker for sex. You’re the one objectifying them by assuming they have no agency in choosing their profession.

When our country’s healthcare system can bankrupt a person for having a medical emergency, this is inevitable.

Makes it pretty hard to have sympathy for the guy choosing to kill himself like that, when the method he chose had to include innocents. Especially when one of those innocents was a 12 year old girl, goddamn.

I can’t even imagine the inner turmoil of working for a place whose readership is one step away from actively hating everything you stand for, and I just wanted to say: I appreciate the work you do here. Aside from a few shining bright spots like Arnheim, this comments section is one of the least tolerant places on

This exactly. Wife walked out on me and the kids (I was blindsided), telling me she had settled. She moved out, partied, bought all new things she felt she deserved (but couldn’t afford). Boyfriend after boyfriend, and finally moved one in with her. She got what she wanted.

(also ironic that the unwillingness to see the other side’s point of view is what made the war in the first place)

My 2 cents, PVP should be consensual, because the fact that most people does not live in their mom’s basement just to play games (unlike that galaxy-overlord-pretender).

Even if the actual cases of griefing are relatively isolated, the simple fact that someone *could* jump into your game and wreck your base or steal your discoveries puts a lot of people off of even taking the risk.

I’ve entirely avoided multiplayer so far because I don’t want the added hassle of worrying about what

As a developer... the concern is install base. You can only sell as many copies of a game as there are people to sell it to. While the Switch is exploding in popularity, it in no way, shape or form has the same install base yet as the 3DS. So smaller publishers have to consider that when they’re putting out new games.

Also, wouldn’t that be a one piece puzzle? A zero piece puzzle would just be... nothing.

Solid assessment of the public perception of this game. It’s funny how there are still plenty of people who seem to enjoy holding on to that anger, but they’re few and far between. Most people either moved on or continued, like me, to play the game that did exist on and off over the past two years. It’s a niche

My favorite ways that video games make failure matter is by not making failure matter. I feel like in a lot of cases, punishment for failure just feels like a holdover for when punishment for failure was to make you put more quarters. I feel like unless a game does something really interesting with failure, like the

That makes no sense. Maybe I’m out of the norm, but I can’t grasp the concept of buying something that I definitely don’t want on the off chance that I can then buy something that I do want.

Isn’t getting arrested usually the first step young hackers go through before their military/government security career?

Reading the article, I’m not quite sure why the player in question need EA to tell him he spent between $10,000-$16,000 on FIFA. I have a reasonable approximation in my head of how much I’ve spent on Overwatch loot boxes in the year I’ve played, or how much I’ve paid in subscription costs for World of Warcraft over

“Such visitors are drawn to the website by the widespread availability of free, unauthorized copies of Nintendo’s video games and other highly valuable intellectual property.”

Not really a spoiler, though. The Metro games give the player a number of “allies,” some of whom turn out to be trustworthy—many of whom turn out to be total sacks of shit.

If you can already tell who the betrayer in Last Light is, then you’ve read other spoilers, or played the game; there’s enough of that, “friend of
