There were points in the game last night when Michael Bradley was playing *behind* at least one and occasionally both of the USA’s centerbacks when I thought, what the fuck is this dude trying to do. He has become the worst version of himself.

Eff that. They’ve worked their entire lives to be the best in the world. This is the biggest stage. They’ve been quite vocal at demanding better pay, on par with the men’s team. Yesterday was an absolute demolition, but taking joy in their skills on display for the world is by no means a problem.
