It's good that you predict ABC will actually promote the show in any way :) Think at this point they pretty much left them for their own devices, but hey, sounds like a fun plot. Poor Teddy, the plotline created by his absence is even more interesting than the one with him in it.

No! That just means that "Nashville" is a good show. And it that case, who cares about the genre…

Nashville used one of Kacey Musgraves songs in the begining of the first season. It's called "undermine"(they used another in the second season) It's a beautiful haunting song with strong lyrics that they intergrated really well in the storyline. It was "a minute" before she released her album and became this big

Must say, I love Juliette but she's not my favorite. Much prefer Rayna (just without boring idiot Luke) and even Scarlett who can be annoying but is a really interesting character. Juliette to me is nice but very predictable

That was great! Loved it as well. It's one of the reasons why I think the show is smart. Because they use the music in a way that gives us little hints to things in addition to the regular story. What you mentioned is a good example but there were so many others. When we feel a song is not "good" for the performer

Love this show and don't think it's dumb at all! The fact there twists and turns doesn't make a show stupid. Think it's a great show and way underrated. As for the music, they are doing an excellent job, not just by introducing new songs every week but by making the viewers believe the character actually wrote the

THAT or maybe her father will die at the end of the season (well, someone's got to) and leave her his money, which she'll use for highway 65 and create a revolution in the music business. IF anyone can start a revolution it's Rayna Jaymes y'all. Love the world through the eyes of TV

Now all we have to do is hope they'll get another season. In this rate they might be perfect by the end of next season :)

Hahaha :) I also love the A.V. club reviews and hope they'll continue.
By the way, in general, think this show is way underrated and somtimes get bad press fro no reason. It's not perfect but much better and way smarter then some suggest..so it's not just your wine :)

I have nothing against Megan in general except the fact that she has the most annoying habit of interfering every Rayna/Deacon conversation.

Yes, you are so right. It might be easier for someone like Avery who is already a bit of an outsider. It's a true tragedy for him. Really curipus about the direction they'll take his character. They really need at least another season to develop it.

I think that I want everyone to join Rayna's label: Gunner, Will, Deacon (oh, that will be fun) and even Juliette. The way they wrote this story demonstrate so well what's wrong with the music business today so Rayna, the artist seem like a savior of some sort. Nevertheless, I'm sure even this bubble will burst, just

I think that the best stories on the show are the ones that are slow burn, like Will's (but not only his). The signs were there from the start. The first episode he appeared in back in season 1 he tried to dare death on the rail tracks with Gunner and now all of that come full circle.

She's more interesting dead:) Her storyline was the weakest link of this season so far and it felt forced.

That's SAD! But yes, it's the unspoken truth of so many and TV choosees constantly to look away from the aspect. I really didn't think they will dare to go there, although we've seen sign from day one that he has a death wish (When he drove with Gunner to a railway…). I'm also pretty sure that he will survive so that

Love her less this season. Love Connie Britton MUCH more this season. She, for me, and her storylines are the main attraction with or without that hair of hers

It was a good solid episode. Not as brilliant as episode 7 and 8 but still very good. Very excited about the second half of the season. Love the direction of the show. More music business, and deep grounded relationships and less Pork blood Peggy and such! Will be great to watch Rayna Jaymes trying to make it

Think it was so brave of a prime time network TV show to show that coming out struggles are not a joke. If it was Shondaland or Glee they would have focused only on the acceptance of others and not on the inner struggles that do happen for many, especially someone like Will Lexington character in Nashville. Kudos

Love her less this season. Love Connie Britton MUCH more this season. She, for me, and her storylines are the main attraction with or without that hair of hers
