I actually think Get On Your boots is pretty great - I think it's written off because of the clunky lyrics. Even Stand Up Comedy is pretty fun - and again with the distracting clunky lyrics. I really dislike I'll go crazy if I don't go Crazy Tonight though.

This gives me a very Watchmen vibe. Like it may slavishly recreate the imagery of the original source and visually look great, but losing what made the original good. Maybe not though - hopefully it's great.

Nemesis had a horrible cold open. It was like… oh my gosh! A bunch of Romulans got assassinated! Way to really draw people into this exciting universe!

Yes, love this score. The James Horner scores are awesome too - some of the most stirring themes out there. I keep trying to get listen to the TMP Goldsmith score to hear how great everyone says it is, but it has yet to click withme

Yeah, I remember the first time I saw it I thought that the super dramatic Duel of the Fates music wasn't earned by what was going on. I mean, seeing Jedi fight Darth Maul is exciting, but not that exciting. The score sounds like the fires of Mount Doom

I feel like Hans Zimmer isn't a totally fair scapegoat. It depends on the movie. I'll concede he doesn't write memorable themes you can hum, but I think in the right movie his scores are really fantastic. Interstellar had an amazing score. In other movies I do feel like he cranks out music that seems pretty

I found Forrest Whitaker distracting - like he is a little too famous so I saw the actor more than a character in Star Wars.
