I love my Garmin Vivosmart HR. I bought it because why not have a heart rate monitor on when I get my workouts in? But it had the unintended effect of making me aware of everything and then I lost 13 pounds without a ton of effort. So there’s that. /ramble

I love my Garmin Vivosmart HR. I bought it because why not have a heart rate monitor on when I get my workouts in?

REI’s is pretty great if you tend to buy any kind of camping/hiking/running/biking/etc. outdoor gear. We get stuff there more than we would have expected. I hike, but we also get winter gear for the kids and my wife there (boots, gloves, hats, etc.)

I go it alone nearly 99% of the time because I have yet to find anyone to go it with... I just don’t get people who are afraid, for a lack of a better word, of eating out solo or going to the movies alone. I traveled full-time in an RV for five years and now drive to Mexico and back to spend the winter, solo, and the
