I heard about the whole putting them in the coffin thing for weeks as they were trapped in their own excrement thing and when it transitioned from the flashback, I was expecting Jesse's grandmother to open up the coffin to reveal Jesse in there.

After last week's crazy angel/Eugene antics this episode feels like just the right time to some character building, with the whole dinner scene being great and the character's feeling like they're finally coming into their own.
Also spoilers for the comic.

Are the people who come for father Custer Jesse's

"I DID IT FOR THEA SHE'S MY FAMILY ID DO ANYTHING FOR HER"
*Does bad thing*
*Repeats last phrase*
Barrowman's great but fuck the Arrow writers have no idea what his motivation is at any given time.
Like he'll bring up the whole Thea thing but then he'll suddenly be working for a villanous organisation.
Either go full on

This is really good actually, gives the show a clear vision. I know every other show sees the numbers 3 and 5 as natural end-points to their stories but how many other show's have chosen to end after 2?

We shot the right man but the wrong man blew himself up.

So if anyone could clarify something for a Brit (Sixabong all hail the queen brexit etc.) I just finished streaming izombie's 2 seasons on Netflix and I'm wondering if anyone knows if Netflix now own the iZombie streaming rights for the UK and they'll put up an episode a day after the CW does?

"Wait a minute, how many fucking horses did we buy?"
"FUCK IT DROP VINYL NOBODIES WATCHING IT ANYWAY"
*HBO extends GOT for 20 more seasons, axes all original programming beside it*

Yeah the second season's a little patchy, too much stuff to fit in 6 episodes yet it felt like it was recycling the on the run plot of the first one but I think the flashback episode is an absolute work of art. Amazing visuals and performances. Another thing the second season did really well was the soundtrack.

Bodysnatchers is still one of my favorite songs ever made.

I'll go with the predictable ones like David Lynch or Bryan Fuller (Hannibal's in my top 5 show's)
But there's a short lived UK show called Utopia which I absolutely adored, it felt right up my alley, incredible visual design that used oversaturated colours, a bizzare complex conspiracy plot that was drenched in dark

Next year? Come on lads we couldn't get this for a cheeky fall release? Maybe bring it out in December to air alongside Ash vs the Evil Dead?
I'm so pumped for this show, I've never read that book but I love anything Fuller churns out.

Am I the only one who's found Lily's storyline really badly done? The least subtle gender politics in the world and a lot of the scenes felt cringey, I preferred it when it was her and Dorian looking to start an army of superiors but it sort of feels one note and trivial to the plot in the grand scheme of it all

The whole men being melted into the floor thing is kind of terrifying cause what the fuck are they still alive when trapped in the wall or floor, because doesn't Apocolypse like change matter or something.

I remember someone talking about the original script, and how when the four went to the Negative Zone it was almost like a terrifying Lovecraftian place of Horrors as opposed to the barren boring wasteland in the film, there was a scene where Galactus was seen looming in the distance and I just imagine this

Oh man what a horrifying fate she got as well, being jabbed with that metallic gooze and then being fucking trapped in the weapon X container, that fucking fight was brutal.

I remember doing a sort of binge of the movies before Days of Future Past, and was surprised at how well the first movie held up, really good character work and nuance, also it's actually goes back to a time where the biggest set-piece in a movie was just two character's fighting, something Civil War actually

Pilot was interesting, there was some top demon kid punching. Although I'm actually wondering how the series will develop from here on out, I hope it doesn't become a "Exorcism of the week" kind of thing and just goes balls out like some of the better scenes in the Pilot.

There's nothing wrong with levity or anything, I mean Batman vs Superman had no levity and that was fucking miserable, all I'm saying is that why not try something different with the universe as opposed to trying to emulate the same tone of the main films, it's an anthology film, why not go for something a little

"Edwards just screened, which is described as having the “feel of a war movie.”
Goddamit this is actually what I wanted from this movie, a proper war movie set in the Star Wars Universe, I mean sure space romps are great and all, but if we're getting a new Star Wars every year till forever why not branch out and do a

I was wondering why I got the same chills (fuck) as Hardhome when that music started playing.
