I think the general idea is that Peter/Sandman is supposed to echo Harry/Spider-Man. Peter is going after the guy who killed his father while at the same time Harry is going after guy he blames for his fathers death. It would probably have worked better without having to weave the Venom plot in.

I think it is not uncommon for them to have someone stand in for a celebrity cameo in dress.

You can easily avoid drinking/eating for 5 hours at home (we Jews do a 24 fast ever year). That said I’m totally on board with pausing to get up and grab and snack or drink as desired.

The safety precautions only make things it creates unable to hurt you by themselves. So a bullet wouldn’t penetrate or a knife couldn’t stab if the safety precautions were turned on. The precautions wouldn’t prevent you from straining a muscle.

Troi is a Lt. Cmdr for the bulk of the series. We just don’t really know because she is never in her uniform with her rank on the collar.
