There is no “la-la-la-la la Bamba” lyric in that song, but maybe that's part of the author's point in saying that the Spanish didn't get in the way of enjoying the song?

Hip-hop has a homophobia problem a lot of the time and this is a step in the right direction, but I find the song a little trite and obvious and just kind of…embarrassing to listen to because it's so poorly written.
