Do you think the pre-symptomatic essential workers who kept going to work before they knew they were sick should get that same constant reminder that their choices led to deaths and sickness?

It looks like a Vegas day club...no thank you to actually being in that water
That articles doesn’t say anything about the spring breaker photos or cases that came from it, from the early lockdown days. Unless I’m missing something.
That makes a ton of sense for those places.
Ya, before I read the article I thought the same. People who attended this, are not going to comply with a quarantine request.
I don’t remember any follow up from the photos like this that were taken in Florida when all this was ramping up. Were there cases traced back to that?
Ya, that’s apparently the idea. It’s randomized codes, not names and phone numbers. I think it would be a much more useful tool as things open up more, and you have more reason/opportunity to be within 6 feet of a stranger. If they can get people to use it, which is a big if in the province I live in.
I’m not sure what you think I’m claiming. The app’s bluetooth connection logging (to really really simplify a description of what’s happening, I’m not trying to explain the technical side, just state that there isn’t any actual location tracking happening,) is very very publicly available for anyway to look up the…
The one they are rolling out in my province collects bluetooth connections that you’ve been within 6 feet of for 15 mins or more. Then pushes info to you, when someone who ends up getting covid pushes their data to the app, and you happen to be one of their connections. Unfortunately the province has created a huge…
Me too, I miss the gym more than I miss anything else (it’s a lot of my social group, my after work time, and the thing that keeps me somewhat level and sane on a daily basis.) Restaurants are close second.
The avg age of covid death isn’t far off the avg age of death.
Ha I probably do that. I have stopped posting about my actual life, mostly, as I’m going through a divorce and don’t really have anything good to post about, other than my hobbies (which in normal times, are almost all fitness related)
Yep! 2 more years and I move up an age class. The top few competitors in my weight class are barely 35. Long game haha
haha well, I’m just better at weightlifting, so that might be part of why I enjoy it more. I’m also over 35, which means I can now compete against people my own age and have a lot more opportunities. This year I made nationals, which would not have been even close to the case if I were competing against the 20-30 year…
I converted from crossfit to plain old weightlifting, and it’s been a fantastic choice.
They do that where I live, then give me a dirty look for having the audacity to bring a car onto the street near them.
haha ya, when I agreed to a video chat with a stranger I was prepared for seeing one.
That’s definitely not the case. I’d guess since people are probably hiding it more, and sneaking around, there is probably less honestly about it than other times.
The people who complain about crossfit have so much more to say about it than the people who do crossfit do.
Are you going to keep open, as a vaccine is over a year away at this point?
