It fascinates me how these movies can be so stereotypical action movie hyper-masculine and so sensitive and sincere at the same time. It's like the movie equivalent of seeing a giant tattooed up ex-con lovingly carrying a puppy around in a fanny-pack. I can't help but be charmed by them.
They race cars, have shoot out,

I'm not asking you to like the movies. I'm saying take a breath and maybe calm down about not liking them. They're the most inoffensive of all the big action blockbusters.

Oh boo, you snobs. Why do you hate fun? In a moviescape where grimdark self-serious garbage is the main course on the blockbuster menu, Fast and Furious movies are like a colorful breath of fresh air. Just thinking about all the trash that's been or being released this year is making me wish Fast 8 weren't a year

Cipher was wearing that Metallica shirt and leather jacket in that photo of her they released, sooo…. maybe.

Exactly. I don't get the pompousness over Fast and Furious. They're a very self-aware franchise and make no pretense of being anything other than fun fun fun. They're basically superheroes with cars and I would much rather watch the worst F&F movie 10 times in a row than anything DC has put out in the last…. ever. If

They're doing a final 3. Apparently that was always the plan and the final 3 are kind of an ending trilogy.

You're talking about Fast and Furious movies. You wanna unbunch those panties maybe?

I mean I guess there must be somewhere, I just have yet to actually meet any. Like the people who like Oasis, who I presume must also exist somewhere.

Uh, yeah, no.

Is there anyone that doesn't like Hamilton? That's as much news as Tom Hardy saying he likes The Big Lebowski. Yeah, you and literally everyone, buddy.

Were the people that run Starwipe busy this morning ooooorrrr…?

Having to deal with both racism and sexism in the roles you get offered as an actress of color in Hollywood must be the worse. White actresses seem to have enough trouble trying to find quality parts where they don't get reduced to props, it must be impossible for a black woman.

Well it's about time! Time kept ticking on since her Oscar win and it was starting to get a little more than embarrassing that she was one of the very few winners in what would be considered a break-out, star-making role, not to then be cast in something big and blockbustery. That it turned out she only had a bit part

I can't say I'd miss it in it's current form.

He's a good guy who sees all sides of an argument and doesn't like hurting people, which are terrible traits to have for a leader in this universe.

Team Ser Pounce for the Iron Throne!

I feel bad for the guy. I can't work out if he's not a good actor, or has just had really bad luck. Maybe he's like Kristen Stewart and needs to be looking for meatier roles that aren't of the stock leading person variety. Those roles are dull and badly written most of the time, which this Huntsman character is in

Will Smith's last big movie was a massive bomb and has had a good mix of hits and misses. DiCaprio just makes good choices on directors. Brad Pitt… maybe, for certain genres. Mark Wahlberg, no. But he has carved out a good spot in Transformers.

I would say no. I think you said it, that it's more concept than star power now. Or maybe it has been for a long time, Hollywood just hasn't accepted the idea. I feel like the idea of star power is so limiting anyway, for actors and for audience.
There are probably exceptions. If you put actors that are known to be

I don't know if that's Hemsworth's fault entirely. He's had some bad luck picking movies to star in. They've just not been good and haven't played to his strengths. The guy has a lot of fans and is really popular, but popularity doesn't seem to translate to box office numbers. I don't think I really buy the idea that
