There have been constant references to “how many times Archer should have been by now” over the past few episodes. This installment specifically alludes to “hanging these adventures up and returning to our normal lives.” I seriously doubt we’ll get more than a few minutes of the “Prime Timeline” in this season’s

The episode descriptions for the comedy, Wrecked, were just like calls out to the abyss that had nothing to do with the plot and were like, “Does anybody actually read these?”

Really frustrating that they didn’t kick off the season with this. It’d have been all downhill from there, but it’d have been a hell of a memorable start. Ending the season with “Terror at 20,0000 Feet” would have been a fine way to cap off the season.

I mean, there’s no reason why Schrab couldn’t have joined the show’s writing staff, like he eventually did with Communnity (albeit with directing).

Wow. Seriously.

Poco Loco did it first...

He was the focus of the previous episode, so I’m assuming that yes, he’s still sticking around.

I’m pretty they discussed revealing what this was this season, but it’s one of many scenes or lines that were cut for time? They definitely wanted to give closure there.

That at least was a spin-off of an actual program and did occasionally call back to Darkplace.

This is all absurd.

I mean, Netflix just announced they’re doing new episodes, didn’t they?

The first time I went through the show I really lost my mind when the song started in each episode. The fact that it’s always the same tune and eventually devolves into the same song by the end each time is just SO funny to me and I’m not entirely sure why. At first you’re like, “Oh, another song. That’s fun!” But by

Like come on, make another fucking movie after Submarine and The Double!!

Just stopping by to remind everyone how bonkers/awesome it is that Snuff Box’s theme plays during Dredd for virtually no reason.

Came here to weigh in and say that while I love Primer, Upstream Color is where it’s REALLY at.

Anyone see that weird David Cross’ UK comedy where Stephen Mangan juggled having two wives/families? I was just so bleak and angry and this feels like exactly the same kind of energy.

Didn’t see a single comment here about Merchant’s “Hello Ladies,” and while it was far from perfect, it gave me a lot more pleasure than any of Gervais’ later stuff. I would have liked to have seen what a second season could have accomplished.

Well ho-ly shit. This thread just took me through that original SomethingAwful DIY forum and THAT was a fascinating way to spend half an hour!

It’s so weird that being given a blockbuster superhero film is now the resident “reward” for making a great indie. What’s happening is that these directors either nail it and then are stuck in the Marvel machine, or the film fails and they just lose their shot.

The Cleanse is such a weird, little creature feature horror film. This director is honestly the perfect choice for something like a new Critters film.
