He fucking e-mails an EXPLOSION. I couldn't stop laughing at that.
Sending explosion.
Receiving explosion.
BOOM.

Right? She was just so, so fantastic. This casting choice feels like the sort of thing that would happen if Plaza no longer is able to commit to a full second season, but with her still being in the show next year, I'm curious why this is happening. Relieved to hear that she's still in the picture, but just floating

Re: Gilligan from everything I've seen, he's said that he's actually taken a step back this year and that this season has been much more Gould's baby. I know he has that Jim Jones cult miniseries on HBO that he's doing. Perhaps commitments there took him away from the back-end of the season.

Seriously, this season has been killing me with lines like:

I mean, besides the fact that they wanted the end of the series to remain a mystery until airing, I can see why this was the last episode provided to the press for review. It'll probably be just as concluding of an ending as the actual ending will be.

Just like Reed said he was jotting down noir/season 8 notes during season 7, I could see him doing the same thing with the war flashback scenes and slowly building something together for next year.

I mean this would obviously make the most sense while also saving some face. We'll see though.

Take him all the way to the futuristic year of 2021 and captaining an underwater research facility.

Honestly, at this point have the reboot for next season be Archer and company are working on Sealab or have jobs with the Xtacles. It'd be no more ridiculous.

Yes. And I still get goosebumps whenever a Frisky Dingo runner somehow ends up in Archer, like the beautiful "slideshow" reference and the boosh and/or kakow-ery.

Damn, I'm listening to the Insider Podcast right now (which is always a great resource for the show) and the way they're talking it REALLY sounds like that appearance of Lydia is the only time she shows up this season. Not sure how I feel about that appearance if it's not getting folllowed through this year. Could all

Show began in November of 2002. We're somewhere in '03 now.

No. Everyone is overlooking that Howard mentions when it was bottled, not when it was bought. Could have easily been purchased years after it was bottled.

"BECAUSE HE GETS RESULTS!"

Yes.

The finale is titled "Lantern" so SOMETHING in that territory is going down. Even if it's just Chuck's house burning down in a foreshadowed fire.

I did this, hahaha.

I naturally assumed it was someone's daughter or relative and meant to be some "special" piece of casting. Completely pulled me out of it, too…

Thought it was interesting that during the initial cancellation of the show and Forrest being in denial about all of this being over, I kept thinking, "Well, why are the cameras still filming him? Clearly the show is still in production if the cameramen are working." Even though I wasn't expecting some grand reveal at

That review that sees him creating an art piece out of used heroin needles and then contracting HIV or giving it to someone else is one of the craziest things I've seen.
