I was a lapsed player who came back for the Foundation Update... two hours later, uninstalled the game again. This update adds a lot more resources to grind, and a lot of new things to craft, but actually playing the damn thing is still as painfully boring as it was before.

I want to sympathize but considering the way Niantic favors large cities and shafted most suburbs or rural areas. It is really really hard for me to care about anyone playing in the city at all.

I purposely didn’t listen to word they said, I was sold on the initial trailer and avoided all subsequent trailers and interview till the game released. Like TenorSounds said above, it meets all of my expectations - a game I come home, crack a beer open and enjoy while relaxing while my girlfriend watches.

Honestly, most of those aside from the resolution fix look more like stylistic preferences than something to ‘fix’ the game or make it look like what was ‘promised’ to be.
