So…basically people would add on-the-nose music that describes the plot of the movie? Well done.

Of course! Then he can get back to being an alcoholic full time.
As an Australian, I disagree with basically every opinion Joyce has (he recently said that Indonesia was sending refugees to Australia as payback for us stopping the cruel practice of live cattle exports, he's a legit moron) except for his apparent love of trolling Johnny Depp. That will never get old.
And so Barnaby Joyce has the last laugh after all.
Yeah, that bothered me too but I guess in the context of rap, four beats is very standard. Aside from some prominent examples (as stated downthread).
Spaceship by Kanye just off the top of my head.
This is what I was hoping that Ice-T documentary was going to be. I could legit watch this stuff for hours.
Yep. Lindsay is amazing and I wish she got more recognition. Luckily most of her videos are now up on YouTube; when blip went under, her website went down and I only recently discovered that most of her stuff had ended up on her YouTube channel.
Just Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You by Colin Hay too.
The best thing he ever did was introduce us all to Lindsay Ellis. She's fantastic.
Awesome.
That's probably how they got it past him.
I guess RATM have just always liked them. They covered How I Could Just Kill a Man on their Renegades album, which was supposed to be revolutionary songs but that one's mostly about how it's cool to be a gangsta. My copy actually has a live version they did with Cypress Hill too, which I imagine is close to what this…
I'm glad someone else remembers this.
Also, don't look up what Tim C has been saying lately either.
Probably doesn't help that it's the only cover too, which I don't think people realise.
I am disappointed by the lack of upvotes on this. Do people not know history?
Another thing to blame George Lucas for!
Co-signed. You don't have to like the movie but it's a canard that she's the one that changes for him. (To be fair, it doesn't quite stick the landing because he throws off his jock outfit pretty quickly and he's back in essentially the same outfit he's worn throughout the film.)
I don't! Really, I don't. And on paper I should love PFT. I think he's funny as a guest on other shows, but in character I find him…not.
