Prince Rules. SNL drools.
Prince Rules. SNL drools.
Key & Peele did it.
"There are no small parts, only small actors."
She plays a bewildered "Oreo" chick in basically every sketch. She didn't do much with that black intellectual character in the "How's He Doing" bit. Kerry Washington did as much.
Oh, God.
There were at least two Uber jokes throughout the show.
I remember the sketch being jaw-droppingly bad, but what was the line in question? I'm on the West Coast. Did they edit it for that broadcast?
I thought it was the Eddie Murphy joke, too, just stretched into sketch form. Did she do something similar in her act? I could see her converting all her stand up bits to sketches for her foray on camera.
She's the exact same in every sketch. And her impersonations are nonexistent, IMO.
This.
"Fine" doesn't cut it in a competitive workplace like SNL. They now have five black performers, which means either they'll either come together and do some black-themed sketches, or turn against each other and rip each other's throats out.
The writing is on the wall. I'm watching this with some interest.
CTFD, seriously.
Are you kidding? I ONLY watch for the musical guest at this point. At least it's a fall back for SNL if they have crummy sketches that week. Prince will be the most interesting thing about the November 1 episode.
That cold open seemed pretty Republican-friendly, even down to the portrait of Reagan hanging in the background. Key & Peele have the best impersonation of Obama as well as the freshest POV. Nobody else can even compete with that.
Jim Carrey cleaned the floor with them. School was in session!
Surely TLC can cancel any show it wants at any time for any reason. They're not going to slander somebody to get out of a contract.
Her mic was set to "Auto-Tune" mode while The Weekend's wasn't. In the other song she was totally singing to a track with occasional lip-synching, IMO.
I missed the set up, I guess. I thought it was spoofing "Friends" or something, then by the time it got to the little kids I fast forwarded.
Yeah, Kyle Mooney should have done something to button the blackout.
