Star Trek Beyond was a forgettable, mediocre, generic 2-hour "science-fictiony-setting" television episode, with nothing interesting to say about the setting or the characters. It was a Fast-and-the-Furious movie with spaceships. The only thing studios should learn from it is how not to do a Star Trek movie.
