To all the haters out there: read this link, and you'll know how and why Batman and Joker were always meant for each other, and Harley was meant for better things.

So, would everything you just said also apply to real-life abusive relationships?

I doubt you're the ambassador or president of the DC fan club. You can't speak for everyone: only for yourself. And yes they are "your" versions.

The only thing I find irritating are fans constantly whining over not having their favorite version of Harley. All they have to do is stop following the solo series and its spin-offs, and simply read something else. All the whining in the world won't bring back the original Harley.

You're wrong. There is no CORRECT, or TRUE Harley. Harley is Harley, not matter what interpretation it is. I think you're confusing issue #0 with Detective Comics 23.2. It's not canon anymore, since Suicide Squad was cancelled by #30, and rebooted with New Suicide Squad. Harley Quinn begins after Death of the Family from Suicide Squad #15.

If you read her origin story, either Suicide Squad 6&7 or Secret Origins 4, her new look makes perfect sense. And if her new look is the only thing you still can't digest, then simply read the old comics, Convergence, or something else entirely.

Then simply read something else.
