I think they refer to the suprising risk of exploding water in your face when water and nothing else is heated to much in the microwave oven. Google it.

Exactly, I agree with you, you just have said it better and brought a better example. Although, I am still not sure if it is very common to dry clean ties... I am somewhat sceptical about that but I am a woman and so I do not have personal experience with neckties.

I think there is a real health reason to not wear a necktie - they are not exactly being washed regularly. I have heard of doctors who do not wear them for this reason - because neckties are prone to be dirty, e.g. by inadvertently being dipped in food etc.

Windex.dot com says the original Windex is suitable for glass, mirrors, glass doors, glass microwave doors, glass tables, glass stove tops, glass shower doors... see the pattern? So no doubt you can use Windex for other materials and it will clean it, but the question is whether it is a good idea long-term?

Unfortunately not. Using a disinfectant on an organic matter rather conserves the germs in the matter and so cleaning must happen before disinfecting in order that the disinfecting can even happen.

Do you please know whether it can be switched off by the timer? I will see for myself today and really hope it can.... If not that would be a strange omission imo

Are you going to throw them away? Just wondering why you have put them in the egg box they came in?? What am I not comprehending?

What helps me is handling the wrapping with one hand and the content with the other hand (washed). I also wash the scissors after opening any packaging, besides my hands. Also please note that the fact that the virus was found on the plastic how many days later, does not mean it is viable enough to infect a person

Hi, I’d also appreciate info about how to prevent grease fire in the first place. Does it happen when the oil is too hot or something?

There is no mention about vacuuming LIQUIDS in the link you provided. And I am not surprised - why would anybody want to ruin their vacuum cleaner?

Thank you, Beth. Saving the article for future use. Looks good.

I absolutely remember. The virus is called SARS-CoV-2. So glad I can read on my Kindle.

Thanks for the feedback. Just to be clear: If you still get troubles importing photos from an iPhone when you get your new laptop, what I suggest is an app called “Photo & Video Import” you need to actively download from the Microsoft Store. I don’t think the app is default part of Win10. But it is free, ad supported,

OK, so thanks to your comment I realized that it really bugs me and found a somewhat help in the “Photo & Video Import” app from the Microsoft Store (if you are on Windows 10 that is). There are some issues with the default save location, but at least I can control whether or not the photos will be deleted from the

Exactly, I have the same issues since I upgraded my Windows 7 laptop (incompatible with Windows 10) to a new one with Windows 10. The “old” photos handling was better and more reliable...

Thanks, David. Did not even know it is an option.

Even my 16 years old was mildly interested :) Thanks!

Excellent article, Beth, thanks

The air travel business is so economically fragile that flying half empty planes is unsustainable. Did you notice the airlines layoffs worldwide recently by any chance? My husband currently works for a third airline in his life now and the previous two have both bankrupted.

Have you read the article?
