yeah they burn the nastiest unrefined crude - though some ships are burning cleaner fuels these days there are still a number of super high polluters out there doing more damage to the environment than all the ICE cars in the world.

Their engineers are like other engineers — they just want to make cool spaceships go do cool space things, and 95% of them would be very happy to collaborate with the rest of the world on that since that would allow funding even cooler spaceships to…

That really sucks for the Russian scientists involved. On top of limits imposed by the sanctions, Russia’s space program has been hit hard by budget cuts and rampant corruption in recent years - a shameful state for what was one of the world’s greatest space programs, including an accomplished robotic exploration…
