I wonder how much one of these blocks would be from the junkyard. Maybe someone on Vortex has one they want to get rid of.

I am just doing myself the favor of assuming that all the good engines converted to furniture are cracked blocks or worn beyond use.

I like this cylinder support idea better than the others. Very nice.

You'd need to make a custom stand for it, but it'd certainly look neat. Maybe it'd be better as part of a desk or drafting table.

I've had a Ford Duratec 3.0L with a spun bearing, (No rebuild kits for this engine,) sitting in storage for 5 years. This QOTD makes me want to sell the heads, clean up the block and make a coffee table.

I am no fanboi of the VAG VR/W engines but I really hope this makes top ten, because damn, what a conversation piece.

I tend to agree with a lot of the things you say, but this is actually one of my favorite QOTDs so far. (I assume you meant QOTD.)

I am loving all the home made projects I am seeing on this thread. Good stuff.

I love V engines, be they 2 or 4 cylinder motorcycle engines, 6 or 8 cylinder car engines, or 12 and 16 cylinder supercar engines. But as you suggest, the task of holding up a table would seem to fall more naturally to boxer/opposed engines or inlines.

Woah, WTH is that thing? Was this a Duc production item or someone mad scientist's creations, (Like Radical's double Hayabusa V8)?

Outstanding.

That is actually a neat idea. Or maybe just the jugs from an opposed 4 or opposed 6 as a matching set of end tables.

Yes, leaf springs are advantageous if you are actually going to use your truck as a truck. Not the greatest for handling, but unbeatable for load bearing.

Lots of us thought that, especially with the lo-fi quality of the commercials and out TVs back then. Look the comments for the YouTube and you'll see...

Vigor, Legend and Integra were all fine names. But Vigor just screams powerful GT. Too bad it isn't attached to a GTR/LFA level supercar.

Exactly. Hell the last gen TL looked more like a BMW than anything BMW has made since '04. That was a good looking car. The TSX was fun to drive and while not exciting style wise, wasn't hard on the eyes. Honda needs to put their cars on a serious diet and shitbin their current style. How is it they can make

The E39 needs no pitchman to sell it. But I do love The Hire films.

Why? Don't you like nice interiors and fun hatchbacks?

I'd rather they get rid of the Acura brand altogether. no shame in driving a Honda if it actually a good car.

You mention the Stutz Bearcat and leave off its place in the Cannonball/Gumball history? Nice list anyway.
