Do it! It's an edutainmental heartbreaker. Coincidentally, now that you mention it, both of those shows were the only ones to make me cry this year.

What about that Christian film about the moppet whose prayers cause the Hiroshima bombing? Did that come out this year?

Gah, knew I forgot a show. So hard to keep track this year.

Almost Certain to be Top 10:
Fargo
Hannibal
The Americans (eternally fated to fill the #3 spot on year-end lists)
Bojack Horseman
The Leftovers
Mad Men
You're the Worst

Kelly Ripa, America's Sweetheart, at the very least deserves an Emmy for the year's best guest performance in a comedy.

I'm just glad to see it on the list at all, after it got snubbed in all of those middle-of-the-year Best Of 2015 So Far articles. But it's been #1 in my heart for many months now, too.

Unordered top 5:

On point, except Ben Schmidt lives on to be a jerkoff lieutenant in season 1. Unless that parenthetical means those were the killers.

Mike Milligan's poetry recital at the beginning sets the stage, a tense cat-and-mouse scene occurs in the irrational setting of a hoarder's

I'd say so far that's been 70 - 80% right. Rotten Tomatoes fresh, but still mixed.

As a counterpoint to that opening paragraph, I actually found the writing to be pretty believable. I would think it realistic that someone, if they found themselves 1 on 1 with the potential Leader of the Free World, would try to take the opportunity to ask the biggest question on their mind. It felt less heavy in the

Fuck the diamond authority! Tear down the mines! Kill your jewelers!

"Blinkin, what are you doing up there?"
"Guessing? I…. guess someone's coming?"

That's not my future, I'm not gonna be bubbled in some temple. When I poof, just throw me in the trash.

It's downright predictable that a Pearl-centric episode would be this excellent (and getting to that same point with Peridot episodes), but the best parts were the unexpected moments. Like how robots should never fight, and of course Peridot losing some teeth.
